How ZINERGY BioBoost Works
Liming occurs when microbes break down organic matter in the fertilizer, releasing organic acids into the soil. These acids react with soil minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, forming more stable compounds that don’t readily release hydrogen ions, reducing the concentration of hydrogen ions in the soil.
This process increases the soil pH and replaces hydrogen ions on soil exchange sites with calcium and magnesium ions, further reducing soil acidity.
